Whether it’s our latest safety innovation or using QR codes in an inventive manner, Haselden is always looking for new ways to be thought leaders in the industry and share knowledge. For our latest venture, we decided to try something new for us: podcasts!
Each podcast is hosted by Haselden CEO & President Byron Haselden as the moderator. It’s a perfect opportunity to get to know Byron’s personality and really get a feel for the culture he engenders at the company.
Podcasts are a great way for us to reach our current audience, and ideally people we haven’t communicated with before. They are also a convenient medium for busy people since you can listen to them while driving, exercising, etc. The goal of these podcasts is to provide a user-friendly platform that people both inside and outside the industry can depend on for accurate, educational information to broaden their knowledge of construction.
What Will We Talk About?
Our first podcast is about self-perform—both the pros and cons. What exactly does it mean to have your general contractor self-perform a scope of work? Is it something you should consider for your project?
Our next podcast will be about virtual design and construction and how it can benefit a project. Virtual design is everywhere these days; how exactly does it integrate with construction and what should you expect from your construction team? Where can it provide the most benefits?
Do you have a topic you’d like to hear about? We want to know! Send us an email and let us know your thoughts!
We will be coming out with a new podcast each quarter. We are still learning the ropes of podcast production, but we’re pretty happy with how our first one turned out! With each one we will continue to hone our skills while we contribute to the building community.
