Northglenn High School

Northglenn, Colorado

Initially awarded to Haselden as a $4M summer renovation project, this grew into an $8M project as design development took shape. We adapted our team and approach quickly to execute this fast-paced project within the tight 10-week time frame.

The team worked tirelessly, seven days a week all summer under the direction of multiple Haselden superintendents to complete the project as planned. We closely managed schedule expectations from the onset as we self-performed approximately 15% of the project including concrete, earthwork, and miscellaneous metals.

The project included a new commercial kitchen and cafeteria, new bleachers and athletic equipment, a new athletic turf field, as well as significant stormwater and site improvements. The new kitchen space enriched the culinary program by including stations that are present in today’s commercial kitchens, giving students hands-on experience with the same equipment that future employers will find advantageous. The project scope also included multiple interior renovations and major mechanical upgrades. Additionally, the building safety and security scope included upgrades to the fire alarm control system, emergency response system, and improvement of the security camera system.
