Moffat PK-12 School

Moffat, Colorado

Haselden Construction, with joint venture partner Diesslin Structures, built the Moffat PK-12 replacement school located in rural Saguache County.

The project qualified for a BEST Grant after demonstrating the severe inadequacies of the previous structure, which included serious foundation deterioration, an inefficient and failing heating system, erosion of the plumbing system, and building security concerns.

Designed by RTA Architects, the new school hosts approximately 140 students. In addition to standard classrooms, the new facility houses specialty classrooms such as a science lab, computer lab, and industrial technology room, as well as a gym, kitchen and cafeteria, and music room/stage.
