American Academy Lincoln Meadows

Parker, Colorado

The new American Academy Lincoln Meadows campus is a Core Knowledge, K-8, charter public school with a special emphasis on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. The school hosted 770 PK-6 students for the 2017-2018 year, and grew to over 1,000 PK-8 students by the 2019-2020 school year.

Haselden worked on three separate projects over the last ten years for American Academy. The first two schools, Castle Pines and Motsenbocker, were completed with incredible success, giving the schools lottery wait lists because of the high enrollment demand. Haselden was awarded a third project in 2016, Lincoln Meadows, which became another outstanding project on Cuningham and Haselden’s collaborative resume of K-12 construction successes.

American Academy Lincoln Meadows is a three-story school that stands at approximately 92,000 SF. Virtual design and construction played an integral role. The entire project, including underground electrical and plumbing, foundations, and structural concrete was modeled before building began. The school features a gym and cafeteria in addition to numerous classroom spaces. Several innovative solutions enabled the success of this project.
