This week, we reached a milestone in our work to expand Light of the World Roman Catholic Church in Littleton.
We assembled the building’s cupola and lifted it into place. The cupola consists of 77 different pieces that must be constructed on the ground and gently raised. It is the last structure to complete the building’s framework.
When the expansion — the first major addition to the church since 1996 — is complete, space for worship will double.
