Haselden teams with construction-management students and faculty at Colorado State University to help with special, building-related needs in communities surrounding the university.

This fantastic collaboration is part of the CM Cares initiative, which Haselden sponsors to help students learn the trade and develop skills in leadership, team-building and professional ethics.

Our latest CM Cares project was sat a home in Fort Collins. The teams poured a new driveway and reduced the height of a wall/bar top to make it ADA-complaint for the homeowner, who is paraplegic. The owner loves to garden, so we also installed a bay window where he can enjoy his hobby. Plans also call for the team to install a structural header on an exterior wall.

Thanks to the CSU students who helped on this project! It was a great combination of real-world experience for them, mentoring for us — and a terrific help to a Fort Collins resident.
