Haselden recently completed construction of Aspen View Academy, a charter school for about 830 students in grades K-8.

The 78,400-square-foot educational facility includes 30 classrooms, an art room, music room, computer lab, school library, multipurpose room (most commonly used as an indoor gym and auditorium), offices for administration and additional space for special education services, copy services and small workgroup areas.

The school teaches Core Knowledge Sequence curriculum that adds an emphasis on science, mathematics, language and literacy within a balanced learning environment.

Located on a 10-acre site in the Meadows of Castle Rock, Colo., the building supports the unique needs of Aspen View Academy through high performance design principles, such as daylighting, maximizing indoor air quality and thermal comfort and designing acoustics to create an engaging learning environment.

“Haselden is continuously looking for ways to maximize value while keeping our best interests at the forefront of every interaction, subcontractor selection and step along the way. It is without reservation I would recommend Haselden Construction.”
