Implementation
As your CMAR, Haselden’s responsibility is to be your advocate as well as the end-user's advocate for all issues affecting construction and design. For example, healthcare equipment technology changes rapidly so it’s important to incorporate the latest in medical equipment. For healthcare clients, Haselden works directly with equipment vendors and hospital staff to coordinate purchases of equipment at the latest date possible, often requiring rooms to be constructed before any dimensions of equipment are known.
On a higher education residence hall project, Haselden’s primary focus was on helping the owner achieve their objectives. Haselden developed an alternative layout of the residence rooms that incorporated more units per floor, thus allowing the university to generate more revenue to afford the full design created.
